  Kyrsten Sinema (born July 12, 1976) is an American politician from Arizona, and the member-elect of the United States House of Representatives from Arizona’s 9th congressional district. The district is based in Tempe and includes much of the southern portion of the Phoenix area, including parts of Mesa, Chandler and Scottsdale.   Matthew James “Matt” Salmon (born January 21, 1958) is the Republican member-elect for Arizona’s 5th congressional district. The district is based in Mesa and includes most of the eastern suburbs of Phoenix. He previously represented the district, then numbered as the 1st District, from 1995 to 2001.
